- Navigate the streets is an Urban race with no set course and no rigid rules to follow

- At the start of the race, participants will be given a sheet of clues. Each clue corresponds to a checkpoint, of a location or landmark in the city

- Use a mobile phone or the internet or the book or map to help.

- When you reach a checkpoint, take a photo of it with a digital camera to prove

- Checkpoints are set in advance but it's up to the participants to figure out how to get there. They could compete on foot, use public transit or a combination of the two.

캐나다 팀들에 의해 이루어진 이 작품은 Blast theory의 예보다 좀더 flexible한 구성을 보여준다. Blast theory의 Can you see me now의 경우 GPS와 Handheld PC/mobile phone이란 한정된 미디어를 사용하도록 했지만 이번 작품은 좀더 다종 다양한 미디어들을 이용할 수 있게 해서 좀더 공공아트적인 성격을 띄게 되었다.
아이디어의 참신성이나 뉴미디어적 감성은 Can you see me now가, 공공적 참여의 threshold를 낮춘다는 점에서는 이번 프로젝트가 장점을 가지고 있는 것으로 보인다.
여기에 서울 이라는 도시가 가지고 있는 많은 이야기들, 기억들이 함께 드러날 수 있게 한다면 더더욱 좋지 않을까. 얼마전까지 KBS에서 했던 한 지역의 여러 문화재들에 얽힌 내용을 참가자들이 퀴즈 형식으로 풀어가며 알아가는 프로그램이 하나의 모델이 될 수도 있을 것 같다.
